This XP model is a GPS-enabled radar and laser detector built for serious highway driving, offering long-range detection while cutting down on the false alerts that make cheaper detectors frustrating to use. GPS lockout lets you silence known false-alert spots along routes you drive often, like automatic doors at a store, so the detector stays quiet for things that aren’t actually a threat.

Blind Spot Monitor and Traffic Sensor Rejection filtering further cuts down on false alerts triggered by nearby vehicles and roadside sensors, and a built-in red light and speed camera database comes free to update for the life of the unit. It covers X-Band, K-Band, Ka-Band, and Ka POP detection along with laser, and it includes Highway, City, and AutoCity driving modes that automatically adjust sensitivity based on your speed.
